I'm So excited...

I finally got the last of my goodies in the mail to complete my project. Now I can start working on Visitor. I am really excited about getting this one started. I hope to start this one by the end of the week. The week has barely begun and already it is a hectic one. The stomach flu is going around and my son had it over the weekend and now everyone else is getting it. Blah...

This is the progress that I have made on Knots Cross. I really like Celtic art. I hope to add more to my stash. This is the first cross stitch that I have worked on and I think that it is turning out nicely. There are a couple errors but I think it is learning process.
So this is what I have going on this week... Stitchin' through the stomach flu. Blah...
Till next time...Happy Stitchin'

Introductions...

Hello,
My name is Alice and I am new to cross stitching. When I say new I mean very new...I started my first cross stitch on Jan 5, 2013, and I immediately fell in love. I have since bought two charts and received a kit as a gift. I am also new to crocheting. I taught myself to crochet while I was pregnant with my son and have since finished two blankets and a handful of scarfs and I have started two new blankets and a cover for my kindle. I love stitching, whether it is crocheting or cross stitching... it is my little get- a- way in the hectic life of being a SAHM.
I hope to share my work and get advice for projects and see what other stitchers out there are doing. When I get a chance I will post my progress on my WIPs.

I am currently working on Knots Cross from Celtic Crosses.

I have started prepping Visitor. I am waiting on my fabric and some floss that I could not find in my local craft stores. I am so excited to start this one. It will be a gift for a friend.

This is a kit that I received as a gift and have added to my stash. I do not think that I will be getting to it too soon as I all ready have enough WIPs to keep me busy.

I found this one on HAED and I COULDN'T resist. I am itching to get my fingers on this one, but think I will wait until I have finished up some others.

So those are some of what I have going on and I am sure that I will add to those in the days to come. Later this week I will post my progress on Knots Cross and hopefully I will get my goodies in the mail soon so I can start on Visitor.

Till later...Happy Stitchin'
